Command Sergeant Major (CSM) Milton J. Grant III, US Army (Retired).  Mr. Milton James Grant III serves as the Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Grant Experienced Ideals Inc. (GEI).  He created GEI in 2007 and has been dedicated to making it the premier service solution provider to all clients throughout Government and Corporate agencies across the globe.  Prior to beginning his service to our nation as a contractor, he served in the United States Army for 23 years, retiring honorably at the top of his field as a Command Sergeant Major (CSM).  CSM Grant’s last military assignment was as the Command Sergeant Major, Headquarters Command, Fort Belvoir, Virginia, where he served as Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Installation Commander and the Commanding General for the Military District of Washington (MDW) for his command.  As the CSM, he managed and directed all soldier activities and missions for the Installation and it’s more than 150 tenant organizations.  Shortly after his arrival to Fort Belvoir, he endured the arduous task of being the CSM leading MDW’s Technical Rescue Unit in to the Pentagon to provide both rescue and Recovery missions that arose as a result of the September 11, 2001 (911) attacks against our Nation.  CSM Grant helped lead a very complex Joint Installation which housed US Army, US Marines, US Navy, and the US Coast Guard.  CSM Grant was the Senior Enlisted Leader for the professional development of the Army’s enlisted soldiers assigned to the U. S. Army Human Resource Command (AHRC), formerly located in Arlington Virginia now located at Fort Knox, Kentucky.     Prior to his assignment at Fort Belvoir, CSM Grant was the Senior Brigade Level Instructor for the Army’s Battle Staff Non Commissioned Officers Course (BSNCOC) at the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy (USASMA) located at Fort Bliss, Texas.  As the Senior Instructor he was responsible for the education, mentoring, and training of the Army’s middle and senior level enlisted soldiers in supporting commanders and their staffs on matters and requirements necessary for mission success in warfighting engagements.  Before his prestigious assignment to USASMA; the Army’s proponent for Noncommissioned Officer (NCO)  Academies, CSM Grant served as the Commandant, Fitness Training, 95th Adjutant General Battalion (Reception) Fort Sill, Oklahoma.  In this assignment he was charged with ensuring that all Initial Entry Training (IET) soldiers to include English as a Second Language (ESL) soldiers were processed, prepared and equipped to begin their journey in to becoming a soldier.  This required unique assessments that would ensure all trainees were mentally and physically fit to begin their prospective phases of required training.  Prior to serving as Commandant for the 95th AG BN (RCPT), CSM Grant served as First Sergeant with the 17th FA BDE and the 3/18th FA BN Fort Sill, Oklahoma leading and mentoring more than 700 soldiers yearly for over three consecutive years.  CSM Grant’s military honors include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (four awards), Presidential Citation, and the Saint Barbara Medal and many other awards recognizing his unwavering commitment to the United States of America.
